In a broiler study, increasing the level of OptiPhos® Plus in the diet resulted in increased degradation of phytate-phosphorus (P) which led to an increase in available P. This improved body weight and feed conversion rate in a dose response manner. Protein digestibility increased by five percentage points which is equal to a saving of 10 g protein per kg feed assuming a feed protein level of 200 g/kg.
