Huvepharma® delivered an oral presentation and three posters during the 6th International Conference on Poultry Intestinal Health in Rome.
The 6th International Conference on Poultry Intestinal Health was held in Rome from 3 - 5 April 2019. Keynote presentations by internationally renowned speakers provided the latest scientific information about intestinal health and formed the backbone for a diverse program with plenty of room for short communications, discussions and networking.
Huvepharma®'s Global Marketing Director for Veterinary Products, Dr. Wouter Depondt, gave an oral presentation titled "Efficacy of fenbendazole nanosuspension against natural infections of Ascaridia galli and Heterakis gallinarum in layer chickens."

Dr. Depondt and Dr. Veerle Hautekiet, Global Marketing Director for Huvepharma® also presented three posters at the event.
- Mitigating necrotic enteritis in coccidian vaccinated broilers using a probiotic containing viable spores of Bacillus licheniformis.
- The effect of a novel soluble probiotic containing viable spores of Bacillus licheniformis on performance parameters in commercial poultry rearing.
- A probiotic containing viable Clostridium butyricum spores and its effects on preventing Salmonella enteritidis colonization in broilers.
During the conference, Huvepharma® shared information about their extensive product range for poultry on their exhibition stand. A special dinner was arranged for Huvepharma® guests and customers in the stylish Palazzo Brancaccio in the heart of the ancient city.
