Animal protein producers in Middle Eastern countries gained a new trade fair geared specifically to their needs: VIV MEA.
Expanding its valuable network, VIV MEA is the specialist feed to food show serving the poultry, aquaculture and dairy industries in the Middle East / Africa region.
VIV MEA 2018 offered a rich program. This started with the show's line-up of international and regional suppliers serving animal protein businesses in an area extending from the Middle East and Africa to Iran and the countries of the Indian sub-continent. Added value came in the form of a series of regionally-focused conferences and seminars. The program was assembled by working closely with top partners in the industry and devised to relate specifically to the region's forward-thinking operators in poultry, dairy and aquaculture.
The conference program (www.vivmea.nl) listed over 40 separate presentations in a daily agenda from Monday 5th February until Wednesday 7th February. To give two or three examples, the choice of topics included
- Poultry disease issues in the Middle East
- Nutritional challenges in hot climates
- The emergence of India's animal health industry
Huvepharma held its annual distributor's meeting the day before the fair opened and offered an assembly of trainings and talks on major product brands including B-Act®, OptiPhos®, Hostazym® X, Bio D®, 3T antimicrobials, Parofor®, Flavomycin®, and Coccidiostats® followed by practical workshops in small groups which were very well accepted and appreciated by company distributors.
